Rainbow Cat Series takes a single hand-carved feline block and reimagines it again and again, each print pulled in a different ink so the same watchful cat comes back looking entirely new. Sitting bolt upright with tail curled neatly around its paws, ears alert and eyes fixed forward, this cat has the calm, unbothered posture of an animal that knows exactly who's in charge of the household. Across the series it appears in warm marigold, burnt orange, deep crimson red, and rich brown, the same pose, the same patient expression, transformed by color alone.

The carving itself is where the character lives. Fine white linework traces the tabby-like striping down the chest and back legs, the soft tufting inside each ear, and the whiskered geometry of the face, giving every print a hand-drawn, woodcut warmth no matter the ink color. The tail, looped forward in a lazy comma, and the neatly folded front paws give the cat a sense of settled patience — a pet caught mid-watch, waiting to see what you'll do next.
